The choke mechanism on my carbs started to stick on. After some investigation the problem turned out to be the jets sticking in the guide tubes. I took the following photos of the disassembly, clean and reassembly of the carbs. I used some very fine wet and dry paper to clean and remove any rough edges from the brass jets and guide tubes.
