The rear arch of the XJ-S was looking quite scabby, so I decided to see how bad it was. After a bit of cutting I was left with what is shown in the photo below.

The rear arch of the XJ-S was looking quite scabby, so I decided to see how bad it was. After a bit of cutting I was left with what is shown in the photo below.
Some folding of metal and welding returned the arch to a solid condition. I recreated the original seams to try to keep the arch looking as original as possible. A little more work was needed to finish the job, but I didn’t get round to taking any more photos.
